OK, I dont think you folks fully appreciate what it is here that you
would be getting.
Female, DOB: 05/31/08 Mack Snow. Very healthy and eating mealies and
cricks.
Male, DOB: 05/26/08 Tremper Jungle het. Reverse stripe albino, also very
healthy and eating mealies and loves cricks...
I am giving away 3 healthy leopard geckos.
Due to things beyond my control I am forced to let them go to a good
home. They are all slighty under 1 year old.
This is STRICKLY PICK UP ONLY!!
I live in College Park Maryland 20740, very near the University of MD.
I have one male and one...
Over 90% of the time (yep, I made that up!! :D) this is due to incorrect
temp.
You need to accuratly test the floor temps in several places on both
sides and esp where your gex spend most of their time.
If you have already done this, and it checks out, than it may be caused
by stress.
Depends on season.
In the winter, the central heating in the house dries the air, so my
RH will be very low (10% or less). This is bad because even though
I keep the moist hides damp, my leos still have trouble shedding in
the winter. I have to mist all the tanks every day.
When spring...
I would love to some day see a green, orange and white leo :main_yes:
With lots of bright green!
In fact, I believe I would be willing to part with a fair sum of $$$ for
one! :main_thumbsup:
It the winter, I set mine for 94 because the air temp drops
really low at night when it gets very cold outside.
Normally, it's 92.
I guess 95 is okay as long as they have a cooler place to go
in case they dont like it.
P.S. rheostat only work if your room temp NEVER fluctuates.
I dont know how much bug spray was used, or how close it
was to your feeders, but I would err on the side of caution
and get rid of the feeders.
Since it happened yesterday, it's too late now, but I would have
opened the window regardless of the weather outside.
You should also have removed...
Yep, you do not want to leave crickets in there overnight.
And yes, crickets do bite, and they can stress your gecko to the point
where he will no longer want to eat them.
Just put a few in his tank at a time, when he eats those, you can put
in a few more. If he does not eat them in about...
LOL! that's the first thing I thought when I saw the video.
They see a way "up and out!"
But then, I watched some other videos of owners interacting with
theirs, and the tegus do seem to be seeking their attention :main_huh:
It could be something else entirely, it just looks that way...
LOL!! I agree with you.
I am starting to get used to them, and they are finally producing
babies (LOTS and lots of babies!!).
I dont freak out anymore when they crawl on me :main_rolleyes:
They really are the best feeder, all my guys love them, they are
a pleasure to keep (unlike...
I agree, I dont keep leos because I think they will "bond" with me, or
show me any sort of recognition, I keep them because they are such
fascinating animals.
I am satisfied that they are tame enough to pet and handle.
I get pleasure from it, even if they dont.
Like you said, mine poke...
