Bags under her arms...too fat...or calcium bags

Thanks acpart for your feedback. I'll keep out the calcium maybe till end of month and then see how that effects or doesn't effect the bags. Thanks for that historical context. I'm new to Leo's so wasn't aware that there's been different interpretations about those. Thank you

Bags under her arms...too fat...or calcium bags

They aren't stiff. Sometimes when I see her come out of her hide, one side will be actual 'deflated'. I haven't done too much touching or massaging of them but can try this weekend.

Bags under her arms...too fat...or calcium bags

Hello, I have a 3 year old female named Beatrice. I got her in the summer, and she's a good eater. I have seen her weight go up from when I got her at 55 grams with a thinnish tail (I bought her from a breeder and she was just ending breeding season) and now she's 87 grams and holding steady...

Thanks VampCramp. I started using Papertowels and like it. I also got Shelving liners from Target without Adhesive and will test that out. Found a cool sand colored one - https://www.target.com/p/con-tact-brand-grip-prints-non-adhesive-shelf-liner-beige-granite-18-39-39-x-4-39/-/A-11172255

New Owner - Gecko Not Eating - Suspected Ovulation

Hey Everyone, I'm a new Leo Owner, with a three year old female named Beatrice. I bought her from someone who used her as a breeder (Blood X Emerine I'm told). Got her on June 1st. Was eating 10-15 meal worms three times a week and now just has no interest at all. I've tried, tongs...

Hey @acpart , can you share a photo of your tiles? I am currently using the Zilla green carpet, and I've noticed when my Leo eats, at times her teeth may get caught in the fine fibers (even though this carpet is brand new). I was at Lowe's today and say some nice gray slate-like ceramic tile...

    Hello, New Leo Owner

Hello! Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to introduce myself. I used to have lizards way back in the mid 80's, and sadly, did not take care of them well (animal husbandry has come a long way). Now in my 40's I just adopted a female 3 year old Leopard Gecko (Beatrice). Look forward to doing...
