Thanks! That's a lot of useful info! I have only had them try to spawn once but that was when I had a male in the tank. Since then they have stayed slimmer and non-aggressive except for the chase out of their immediate territory like you said. None of them have nipped fins so I figure they are...
note: I have searched the web and cannot find anything saying smaller gouramis (~5 in) cannot be housed with snakeskin gouramis (~8-9 in)
I have a thriving 55 gallon tank several years old...
mostly peaceful fish: loaches, corydoras, ghost shrimp, danios, swordtails, plecos.
and some...
OK, I have some leopard geckos and was looking into branching out to cresteds. Is there any place like geckoforums.net for cresties? And what are some good online breeders? Thanks -Gary
OK, that confused me, to get blazings all I'd have to do is pair their offspring? Or did I miss something? And the 1st offspring would still be normals right?
wow, I just reread my last response and it came across kinda rude, that's not the way I meant to come across, sorry about that clear and thanks for your response.
I'd say I feed about 150 per week, maybe 175. hahahhahahah! If I can handle big roaches lol, roaches don't phase me at all I'm from Kentucky =] I don't know what you're talking about, I've kept lobsters before, they smell fine.
interesting
I'll still use both crickets and mealworms but that is interesting. And it kinda makes sense if you look at a cricket compared to a mealie
but I wonder how roaches compare?
So I bought some lobster roaches and I'm letting the colony grow right now. Any tips? I pretty much know all their care because I've researched it. Are they good feeders? And how many adults would you say I need to keep my colony healthy while feeding 3 juvis and 2 adults?
