    Tiny Fatty

Haven't been active on here for a while, so here's some new photos of Sagira. She's plumped up a great deal in the past few months. :) My best guess was she was born some time in June 2012, so that makes her about 9-10 months old. Started out at a measly 11 grams in late October and now weighs...

    TOXIC PLANT? PLEASE HELP.

More or less, I was asking them if they knew if the plant had any sort of toxicity. Obviously they wouldn't even know what a Gecko is. I was hoping they might have had more information on this plant, as I'm normally very nitpicky about where I buy things for my pets. My gecko appears to be...

    TOXIC PLANT? PLEASE HELP.

I recently bought this "Tropical Plant" from Home Depot, and I had it in my Cresties terrarium, trusting the employee's word- stupid as that was, and after a bit more research I see it looks very very similar to the Dieffenbachia plants. She didn't eat any, as far as I can tell, and couldn't...

    Gecko Update !

Just to show what my critters have been up to. :) First is Ramses! Here he is peeking out of his cave... Just him being a fatty :D I made the background black and white so he stands out more. Next is Sagira, naturally. She was feeling adventurous today and found a sleepy spot on the wall...

    My Vivariums and racks

Awesome! :) I wish the pictures were bigger so I can marvel at them in detail. That Viv is great though, seriously. I hope to make one like that someday!

    Christmas Geckos

All my babies sporting the Christmas Spirit! :D Nigel my Crestie! :D She embraced her hats the best. Ramses my Adult Leo. He is not a happy chappy when it comes to bright lights. Lol I tried. Sagira my baby Leo. I love her colors so much~ She's a tiny little grinch though. haha...

    Smelly Feces

So Sagira, my new baby Leo, has been eating like a piglet and is pooing normally. Once per day, and it is healthy poo. Except for the fact it has an extremely strong odor. Ramses' poo does not smell at all, so this is quite alarming. I've been cleaning out the poo napkin every day and thoroughly...

    Sagira

So I got a new gecko! :D She's just a little tike, and is probably no more than 4 months old. I've been wanting a Blazing Blizzard since I started getting into lizards so I'm quite happy to have her. :) She's always very spirited and attentive. But, I swear she'd eat until she exploded if I let...

    Lightbox Fun!

Set up a little Lightbox inspired shoot and took some pictures! Ramses was not pleased to be in a bright white box, so I got very few of his eyes open. Lol Nigel my female Crested :) She's so cute and compliant for photos. I was satisfied with just one good one for her. Ramses, my male Leo...

How many feeder insects does your Leo consume in each feeding?

Just curious... Also, specify how often you feed them and what feeder insect your Leopard Gecko prefers. :) My Ramses consumes anywhere from 2-7 meal worms per week. He is still settling in, but is fat as can be. He is very picky, and only eats if I drop the worm in front of him and do not...

    Shed stuck in nose?

My boy Ramses seems to have some shed stuck in both nostrils. I am spraying his cage a little more to see if that might loosen it. I also gently used tweezers and a moist Q-tip to attempt to dislodge them but it didn't help much. He doesn't seem entirely bothered by it, but they have been...

    New to the fourm

Welcome! Your Tokay is adorable. I love that second pic. Those eyes just kill me! ^u^ You planning on getting any more geckos?

    Decision making!

I've had both and I love Cresteds so much more. They don't have as much color variation as Leopard Geckos, but they have such adorable little personalities and are fun to interact with. Also they are easier to feed and care for. :)

    Tiny bugs in tank??

I keep my Leopard Gecko, Ramses, and his tank very clean. And I started noticing these tiny TINY white bugs scuttling about the other day. They do not jump, and as far as I can tell they do not look like mites. Nor are they harming my Leopard Gecko in anyway from the looks of it. He has clear...
