Looks great. I'm sure your crested will like that. Watch humidity with the mini tall's. My mini tall can never seem to keep in the moisture. I end up spraying 2-3 times per day.

Well, I honestly think a crested of good weight between 6months to a year old would be alright for the big tank. Implement at least 3 feeding stations. Try and find a breeder that knows his/her stuff. Pangea has a great forum for crested geckos and they have a lot of great reputable breeders...

If you get a baby go with the small one at first, you can get the other one ready so when it's time to switch, you're all ready

The 12x12x18, is it an Exo terra like the one you showed? I think that would be a much better option for a baby. You can always move up to the larger tank once the crested gets a bit older. I would still try to implement 2-3 feeding stations at first.
