So I just found this little uth but it has no sticky stuff.. question is can I plug it in for like maybe 2 hours or so and place it in my tank under the carpet where she doesn’t lay? Would it help keep heat up or cause a fire or burn
Oh snap I suck im gonna say both temps maybe lol.. i am an idiot. I don’t even measure floor temp and I have a thermometer attached to back wall of tank in the middle.. I just built a stand so I can start putting a under tank heater
I recently upped my gecko’s space.. Penny now lives in a 40 gallon tank. The problem I am having is for some reason I can not get the tank above 72-83F and that’s with a day, night, and ceramic heater, on top of that I have a heating pad on the side of the tank. I Fear penny is too cold.. Any...
Ok so I’m in deep trouble I’m out of crickets and so is the pet store also their meal worms are dead except the giant meal worms so I got them.. my gecko is only like 5 months old is she too small for giant meal worm?
I’m thinking of in the next two months or so adding a new tank and a bearded dragon. My question is, is it ok to set a Leo tank next to a beardie tank? Or should I put them on opposite sides of the room?
I do with sphagum (not sure I spelt it right) moss and I wet it down every night while it’s feeding. I’ve only had it for about 1 week and 1 /2 I think and I’ve trained it to get on my hand so I can more it to a separate tank for feeding. Then when’s it’s done I give it a few to settle the food...
Thank you so much for putting up with all my questions I’m glad I joined here. I am a bit anxious I will just relax and take it one day at a time. It does seem pretty happy with me.
After dinner her tummy was a bit buldging so maybe I over fed her. I read to feed her as many crickets as she can eat in a 15 min time frame but I usually stop after like 8 crickets
I just fed her a big one and she looked like she was struggling a bit. I think I’ll stick to small crickets and wax worms.. also she does this weird thing like she’s trying to reach her back legs with her head.. stretching possibly?
