I got a hygrometer from petco and its reading 70%! This is when I first set up my emclosure not the only difference is there's only fake plants and a few other accesories. Any ideas on how I can lowrr humidity?

I wanted to know what bedding you guys use for feeder crickets? I have a bag of extra corn cob bedding I was using for my parrot. Would that be safe? Previously I was using paper towl but I'd like to try something else.
