Leopard gecko free to good home

I have a 4 year old female leopard gecko that I need to re-home. I had her given to me a year ago when someone was unable to continue care of her. She has been well cared for and I feel bad about rehoming her. I work allot. I don't feel I am giving her the care she needs. I would like to re-home...

    Light/heat

Yes my leo. I had read somewhere that a baking light was not really needed. Mostly just for day/night schedule. But you read so many different things so I just left it to auto on and off daily. I did get a new light yesterday so she is back to routine. Thank you for your reply. Question though...

    Light/heat

My basking light died this morning and I have to go buy a new one. But that means either ordering online or driving a little ways to buy one. I have this set up right now and wanted to see if this would be okay for the time being until I can get something. I have a 60w night time heat light and...

    Heating pad

So I really appreciate you guys and me being able to throw this stuff out there for opinions, suggestions... I am thinking either a heatpad thermostat for the 8x12 pad I bought or a new heatpad with a thermostat built in...I have 2 pictures here and was curious which one would be better. Thank...

    Heating pad

Thank you for your reply. And it's okay sometimes I can be wordy in my posts and easily misunderstood. I love the idea of the Pvc pipes! I was actually talking about using the heatpad I bought and returning the smaller heat pad that I've been using to its previous owner . when I had originally...

    Heating pad

Thank you for your reply. Yes I do know this. I said as much in my post that I should have bought one that came with the thermostat and that is something I would like to have but I hadn't thought of that when I bought this one. I do agree with you although it did not answer my question. But...

    Heating pad

I have a 20 gallon long tank for my leo. And have a 6x8"(I think) zoo med pad. No temp gauge. In the past few months of owning a Leo I have got the tank good ..hot/humid/cooler sections. Night 75 to 80 & 85 to 90...never over 95 ...during day. She is comfortable...goes back an forth from hot to...

    Thoughts/suggestions

A larger enclosure is definitely a good idea. It seems that the more you want to make better for your pets the bigger and enclosure is needed I love the idea of a larger water dish. How often should they soak? Like right now whereas I have a smaller dish should I be taking her out and soaking...

    Thoughts/suggestions

Thank you! Maybe I do mean thermometer‍♀️. A digital readout that goes into the bottom of the tank. I will look into this! Thank you for the picture! She always had a reptile carpet before I got her. I read the dangers on that and switched to the shelf liner but I wondered about the heat on her...

    Thoughts/suggestions

Hi thank you for your reply. she is in a 20g long for being in a 10 for almost 2 yrs. She appears to be content with this as I can tell although I do agree a larger habitat would be ideal. Her uth is not on a thermostat, ihave a thermostat going into the tank and I place the end close to the...
