The WHISPERER: The UTH is about 85 with the light off and 90 with it on, but they have plenty of room on the cold side, and there is a bigger hide in the middle of the hot and cold side that is warmish. Is that an ok temperature? It's a special daylight bulb for reptiles.

I've seen a 35 gallon with a crack in it for $10 but I diddn't act fast enough :(. I got a 35 g for $30 anyways later though, there are so many cheap tanks on Kijiji.

I just use arcrylic but I would imagine spray paint or some of that airpaint would work better as you can't get arcrylic paint wet once it dries. This isn't a problem for me cause they stay in one tank only and I don't really need to clean them, if I needed to disinfect the tank I would just...
