    responsiblity!!!

I can see where you're coming from but it begs the question: What is the difference of selling an animal, and then using the money to buy something else? Why is it wrong for breeders to trade animals that they would be selling anyway for something that they want? And finally, as Aliza...

Geckos with Mites - Please Help!!

You can treat the enclosure with Provent-A-mite..but you have to make sure to let it air out really well before you place the animals and their water back in the enclosure. Also, do not spray it on the animals! I had a snake with mites and I only needed one treatment with it. It works wonders.

Do you love geckos? No, really though, do you?

Oh, my. You think you have been treated unfairly? People have politely stated their opinions and point of views here, while you came here guns a-blazin' and attacking (and alienating) a good majority of the forum. We have just as much right to express our opinion as you do. You have...

Do you love geckos? No, really though, do you?

There is nothing wrong with doing what is cute as long as it is also functional :main_thumbsup:. I don't have a beef with using resin hides because they do work! I have a beef with him attacking everyone who doesn't use a "naturalistic setup." I hope Gregg Madden posts here with some of his...

Do you love geckos? No, really though, do you?

Yep, still up there I see. :main_robin: Also, the only bashing I've witnessed in this thread is from you. Your Setup is astoundingly naturalistic. There is not one thing in that setup that is even close to emulating your gecko's natural habitat. Your post is not being hidden, and I'm sorry...

Do you love geckos? No, really though, do you?

Great post, Aliza OP (csdelisle), your post leaves little room for any opposing view points. People may disagree with you out of guilt and ignorance... really now? Many of the people who keep reptiles in racks have been doing this longer than you (or I) have been alive. I keep my animals in...

Manasa, the one eyed Ball Python

She was off of food because of an improper set up (Which is why she didn't eat the rat and instead got attacked.) The mom had the best intentions at heart, but the sheer lack of research is what was the kicker here. It would take her a very long time to starve, since snakes can usually go...

Manasa, the one eyed Ball Python

She's doing a bit better. She's on Cefazolin injections once a day and is getting polysporin on her head, too. Thanks for the well wishes. :) I hope to be posting "got well" pictures soon..

    Mom and Pop Store

I swung by that pet store not too long after I posted here and I must say I was severely disappointed with them...All the reptiles were kept in cramped, filthy tanks with no water and multiple tank mates. It was also in a filthy little room with scummy fish tanks and lots and lots of clutter...

    A sudden death :'(

Do not freeze her. Put her in a ziploc bag and put her in the fridge. I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope you are able to find out why she died. RIP

Manasa, the one eyed Ball Python

On occasion, I take in reptiles as rescues. Today, I picked up a female ball python. As described by the previous owner, "Monkeywrench" was her son's snake. She was kept in a 100 gallon tank with wood chips and a water bowl - no hides. Her young son lost interest in the snake and began to...

    Mom and Pop Store

What part of GA are you in? Just curious, I'd like to see the mom and pop store (myth aside ;) ) It is a little perturbing that they are keeping a white lined gecko with leos, though. As for the big box store, that sounds pretty typical.
