These 2012 hatchlings range in size from 17+ grams - 7 grams. Most of them are sexable. I have pics of the vent area if needed...

2012 Underwoodisaurus milli - I have a bunch (13) of Underwoodisaurus milli geckos for sale. I have 2 unrelated pairs and am very proud of my breeding group. These babies reflect the quality of that group. In my opinion, you won't find better representatives of this species. To me they are one...

Cricket Shortage? Start a Dubia colony!

With all the talk of a virus decimating commercial cricket suppliers, perhaps it's time to consider starting a colony of Blaptica dubia roaches as a backup / supplemental feeder. These are non-climbing, non-flying roaches and are very prolific and long lived. They are quieter and much less...

Subadult female crested geckos - Pinstripes, etc...

I've added some interesting new geckos to my website www.ridgeandvalleyreptiles.com . It won't be long now before I will be able to start shipping. These will be the last sexable crested geckos I will be selling until at least late summer. Most of the geckos I posted during the winter have sold...

FS: Eurydactylodes agricolae and Nephrurus milli

I have a couple of male agricolae I hatched out from my pair in early 2009. These geckos are New Caledonian just like the rhacs, and can be kept almost identically as the crested geckos. See my caresheet for more information. If you're looking for something that's as easy to keep as...

You guys wanna see something gross? (gecko-related, but not geckos)

OK... so yesterday I do a lab with my students to practice making scientific observations. Several years ago, I decided that the subject of study would be a live giant hissing cockroach. I hand one out to each group of students in a closed mini kritter keeper, and the students have the choice to...

    Partner who isn't reptile friendly?

I was breeding snakes when I met and married my wife. Had a reptile room full of them. Had a few geckos also, but the snakes were my main interest. She never made a big deal about it, but she NEVER went in there. She really has a snake phobia that she's had since she was a child. I felt bad that...

Got my Dubia colony today! (pics)

My experience with those opaque grey plastic totes is that they have just enough texture to allow the smaller dubias to climb. I put a couple of strips of packing tape around the top of mine to stop them. I now use tubs that are very smooth sided and they can't even begin to climb up. Gary
