I think I bought a bold stripe bell hatchling for like really cheap, only 25$ from you kirk, but I'm not sure if it was you or not. It was from a table on the far left that had tokays, golden geckos, tarantulas, and those huge turtles in a tank. They had a few leopard geckos placed next to the...
Family Dollar and Wal Mart has the best prices. Also, for the CGD, Family Dollar & Wal Mart has some great ceramic and tealight dishes on the cheap, just check out the candle isles (Wal Mart has Tealight dishes for like 50 Cents a piece, and they're heavy and tall enough so the geckos don't...
Price drop. I need to move this girl as I have plans for another breeding project. $60 dollars + Shipping to anywhere in the continental U.S. Make me an offer. Thanks.
Here I have a Sunglow female for sale hatched on 1/8/2009 originally produced by Ohio Gecko. She's absolutely gorgeous and is feeding on a combination of crickets and dubia roaches. 42 grams and ready to breed. A great add to any collection! $75.00 + $50.00 shipping. Pay Pal only. PM me if...
What can I say, I've been wanting a crested gecko for the longest time. I was in one of the two major retail petstores who shall remain nameless and they were having a $39.99 sale this week on cresteds, so shoot me. This little guy stood out so I bought him. Feisty 'lil jumper.
Can somebody...
Hahaha! You have a great laugh H.J., reminds me of Santa Claus. When it comes to feeding my sweeties their weekly treats of waxies I'm always sure to whip out the tongs because they go absolutely bat guano crazy over them, literally jumping and almost doing flips in the air and diving for my...
I haven't been a keeper of leopard geckos for very long (only about 5 years now), but in these years I have yet to see a leo die from choking on feeders that were too large for them to handle. I've had a 25 gram leo take down a full grown dubia roach with no ill effects.
The main staple diet for my crew right now is Dubia roaches. The adults eat the full sized dubias which keep them full for awhile so they only get fed 3 times a week. Babies and juvies get fed every day with nymphs & medium sized roaches and mealworms until they reach the 40 gram mark and then...
There's really no need to put any substrate down for Dubia roaches. Within a month or so they will create their own with their substrate/frass (their poop, don't worry it doesn't smell), the baby dubias will eat the frass and they also like to bury themselves in it.
Oh yes, another thing. Instead of using the current bedding you have, I highly suggest Cody's pro gecko gutload. It can be purchased via www.progeckos.com
Really great stuff. Just use it as a bedding for the superworms and add potatoes or carrots for moisture and viola, beautiful healthy...
