UPDATE— so I tried a morio worm they were quite big, he ate one and seemed like he struggled to swallow. I left him for 5 mins and tried again but he kept turning his head away so that’s a no no
He completely went off mealworms. I’ve also realised he’s been in his moist hide every day for about a week and never goes to sleep in his warm hide. His colours gone very dull so I think he’s shedding again that could also be why
So Herbert eats around 4 crickets every other day. I always feed him at the same time every evening but if he had 4 crickets yesterday the next day he won’t eat at all, he’ll just turn his head away. Is this normal?? When eating meal worms he ate every single night
So I’ve tried crickets again he done very well and ate about 6 of them but didn’t pass any stool last night.. I tried to feed him again tonight but he wasn’t having it probably due to him not passing stool yet
So Herbert hasn’t eaten in about 5 days he turns his head up everytime I try and feed him or he looks away he’s not at all interested in them so I think he’s gone off them.. I was researching what else I can feed him so I found calci worms? Is this a good food choice he’s currently on mealworms...
He hasn’t been eating for a few days but I think that’s due to him shedding. Tried today but he wasn’t having any. He did eat all of his shed though so I didn’t keep trying
