    Crested gecko

I actually cut up a superworm every once in a while. My crested gets so excited about live food when I drop it in so he eats it instantly. I would not recommend feeding mealies or supers much. I will also put a cricket, small Dubai, or a wax worm every once in a great while and as stated above...

    Crested gecko

I haven't held mine much. When they are young they get pretty stressed out. Mine is starting to come around me more because he knows I have the food :) it will take some time. When you do start handling, be very careful because they will jump. I try to stay close to the floor when handling mine...

    Crested gecko

Thanks, he's nothing amazing like some I see, but he's a pretty feisty little guy and I just can't get over how big he's gotten already. The breeder I got him from was even surprised. I like your crested's nice red coloring. Mine fires up almost that dark red but thats rare for him/her. I find...

    Crested gecko

Sorry, been off for a while and busy, but your setup looks great. Great pics. Your crested is going to be happy. You have a perfect setup now. I always get CGD and swear by it. My crested is getting big also. I'll add some pics of mine, but obviously some are edited as I did background in black...

    Crested gecko

Looks great. I'm sure your crested will like that. Watch humidity with the mini tall's. My mini tall can never seem to keep in the moisture. I end up spraying 2-3 times per day.

    Crested gecko

Well, I honestly think a crested of good weight between 6months to a year old would be alright for the big tank. Implement at least 3 feeding stations. Try and find a breeder that knows his/her stuff. Pangea has a great forum for crested geckos and they have a lot of great reputable breeders...

    Crested gecko

If you get a baby go with the small one at first, you can get the other one ready so when it's time to switch, you're all ready

    Crested gecko

The 12x12x18, is it an Exo terra like the one you showed? I think that would be a much better option for a baby. You can always move up to the larger tank once the crested gets a bit older. I would still try to implement 2-3 feeding stations at first.

    Crested gecko

Just saw the new pic. Definitely a lot better. I'll show you mine (sorry, little dirty right before cleanings lol) but my cresty loves to hide in the leaves and use the vine. They don't typically like being on the floor surface as much unless your feeding live insects. I would really recommend...

    Crested gecko

Well, I have a mini tall, my crested is about 6 months old, and its perfect now, but in 6 months to a year I may lean towards your tank or a upright 20 gallon long. You can get a baby, but maybe start out in a large kk or modified container until he/she is big enough to move to your tank. Your...

    Crested gecko

I agree your going to need fill all that space up. Are you looking to get an adult or a baby? I found a cheap bendable vine at a local pet shop. I used suction cups I found at the hardware store to twist/bend it from top to bottom and across the tank. Get at least 3-4 hanging plants. Ledge...

Requesting advice on better detecting cancer in Siberian Husky

I'm sorry about your loss, unfortunately these things just happen. Just lucky she had good owners that saw the problem. At least she didn't suffer through months of pain as some will allow. I will never get over the loss of my Pitt Lola, but over time it has gotten better/easier. Again, sorry...

    Crickets+crested gecko diet?

I feed CGD which I keep in at all times (obviously changing regularly) but I feed maybe 3-4 1/8" crickets every 3 or so days. You have to watch though as they can start getting addicted to crickets. My crested is still young yet, so I had to stop crickets completely for a while so I knew he/she...

show me your Crested geckos set up please

It's nothing special since I have a young one at the moment. Also, this was the day I got my crested and I was still waiting on my magnetic feeding station/ledge Eventually I'm going to go with a planted Viv.

Baby Beardie Doesn't Wanna Go o.O

Check setup and make sure all husbandry needs are met. There are some on hear that have some good bearded dragon forums they are on. There may be a reason why he doesn't want to go in. I don't think it will be bad to hold him a little, but you should put the bearded in its new enclosure so he...

safe plants for crested gecko cages

Honestly best place to go for that is Pangea reptile. They have a lot of info regarding this. They even have packages you can buy for specific setups. They have a large plant list that obviously differs depending on species
