Alternatives to dubia roaches and crickets

So I just got my leopard gecko, and for now I only have mealworms. I want to diversify my leos diet, but some of the commonly used feeders aren’t an option for me. My parents won’t allow crickets because of the noise/smell, and dubia roaches are illegal where I live. I’d like to know if there are any other alternatives that would give my gecko a healthy diet. I’m sure that if it comes to it I can convince my parents to let me get crickets, but they seem like a hassle to keep. Thanks!

The best bet is to choose something else to add to the mealworms. Superworms are another choice. (I alternate crickets and superstorms). You could see if you can just buy enough crickets for one feeding and transfer the crickets directly from the bag to the cage so you're not storing them in the house if your parents are OK with that. Another option is hornworms which are expensive enough that you would probably want to provide them every few weeks.
