Any info on "hatchrite" substrate?

I posted this before the forum went live. I noticed Alex Hue has some substrate called Hatchrite, the website for the product isn't up yet. But the product is apparently pre-mixed or pre-moistened and ready to use. Has anyone heard anything about this stuff? What is it? I was going to try it out next season.

Maybe you could come up with a mix of materials that would hold water better, but I wouldn't see pre-moisture as working in any situation. Once you open the bag or get a hole it would dry up pretty quickly. It's quite possible that it's a mix designed to hold water better though. I'd be interested to know more.
