I have a vivarium with Bio Dude Terra Sahara reptile substrate and succulents. It’s been set up for almost a year now with no problems. I haven’t introduced anything new since the set up a year ago. A couple weeks ago I noticed small white and brown insects on the water bowl. I thought they might be the orange isopods I have, but now that a couple weeks have passed I am worried they’re mites. I have no idea where they came from. Most of them are still very small. They’re in the substrate and climbing the glass. They do appear to jump. Can someone confirm that these may be mites and what should I do? I don’t want to harm my gecko or the plants in the tank. I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Good chance they're springtails. Google those and look at pictures. I have springtails in my enclosures but my eyes are too old to register a closeup.
