Best foods for a hatchling?

I understand that the food must be easy for the baby to catch, and that it should be no bigger than it's head. I don't want to feed it crickets (It's not here yet, i'm preparing) because they are too jumpy and i wouldn't be able to remove the back legs. Would mealworms be adequate? I know they don't have much protein or anything else, but i cant think of any other foods. If you know any/ recommend any, please respond.
Thanks!

Mealworms are totally acceptable. Especially the freshly shed ones which are very pale or white in colour. Also if roaches are available in your area small ones are a good option.
