Color change

Hello. My Leo gecko is about 8 weeks old. This morning, its coloring was very pale and dull. I noticed it rubbing against up the glass and on the inside of its hide. Tonight, it’s back to its vibrant color. I didn’t notice any signs of it actually shedding. Did it actually shed? Could my gecko be sick?
