I have a 4 year old-ish (we don’t know her exact age) Leo who I keep in a mesh top glass tank. Recently one of my friends who also owns a leo told me that putting black cloth around the glass so the gecko can’t see out helps calm them especially at night.
I’ve been doing this for like a week or so at night (my room is kind of bright so I thought it might help my gecko feel safe, but is this actually making things worse? I have been trying to look up things on this but I can’t seem to find anywhere that tells me if this is actually helping my Leo feel safe, doing literally nothing, or actively making her feel worse.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Apologizes if this thread is in the wrong area I am very new to the site.
