Crested buried himself

I just got a male crested and the third day I couldn’t find him. Well I started moving dirt around and finally found him buried and asleep. Any answers as to why? Humidity at about 80% after I mist and temperature sits at about 69°

See if it happens frequently or if it was a "one-off". Consider giving it a hide on the floor of the cage if you haven't done this already and see if it just wants to be hidden on the ground. One of my cresties uses his hide on the floor pretty often.
