This is my first time caring for a reptile, and i want everything to go smoothly. I noticed that she has not eaten any crickets in the past three days. Is there any good ways to get her comfortable with this so she will eat them?
To answer your question correctly, we need a lot more information from you.
For instance:
Approximate age: hatchling, juvenile, adult?
Weight?
Are you feeding Crested Gecko Diet?
Has it eaten before?
How long have you had the gecko?
You may want to describe your cage setup and conditions (temps and humidity) for us as well.
These guys can be raised cricket free with no problem, I have had some young ones in the past who have refused to touch them but adores roaches. But personally with my own cresteds I insure they have 2 months of CGD under their belt before offering live insects.
Are you seeing feces is the most important question. The ones Daeric1 asked are important also, but feces is most imporant. If you are seeing feces that means your gecko is eating CGD, which is good, like I said crickets are not actually needed when fed this diet.
