Do female Leo’s regularly lay unfertilized eggs?

Getting an 6-8 month old gecko next week, not sure the gender yet, if it’s a female I want to know how often to expect eggs, and I think I have to increase her supplements a bit during those times right?

Most don't, but occasionally they do. I have about 20 female leopard geckos and only one has laid eggs for the past few seasons.

I've only had my females lay if they had been bred. If yours does happen to, increasing her supplements dusted on food is a good idea and also leave free choice 24-7. You will also want to provide a laying box. It can be made out of a small plastic lid and bowel with a hole cut in it. I put damp moss, paper towel, or both in it. Try to find a moss that is larger and unlikely to be eaten. (Even frog moss will work)
