Do Geckos Need Companions?

I have a rescue leopard gecko and want to know if they are solitary or if they should have a companion. I don't handle her much unless she needs me to, but a life in a 20 gallon tank alone seems dreary. I don't want to get deeper into gecko husbandry, but want her to have what she needs. Thanks, all!

Leopard geckos are generally solitary animals i would advice to not getting your Leo a companion. Some experienced hobbyist have done it successfully but generally a leopard gecko is much happier without having to share its space. In the wild they would only come in contact with other Leo’s for breeding purposes. So in short no your Leo does not need a companion and i would strongly advise against it.
