Do I need uvb lighting in my viv!

Ive adopted a 1yr old gecko yesterday but didn’t come with a uvb, huge vivarium beautiful gecko healthy and lively so wondering if it needs it? Thankyou!

Is it a leopard gecko? If so, since they're nocturnal, you don't really need UVB lighting. It isn't bad to provide it, but it can get the supplements it needs by powdered calcium and vitamin D3. I don't use any lighting for my 17 leopard gecko cages and they're all fine.

Yes it’s a leopard gecko! Yes she’s got supplements and she seems happy as Larry! Thankyou so much that’s really helped
