I have always heard from people that keep fatties that the eggs are harder to hatch, But no one even said why. So what makes fatty eggs harder to hatch?

Thanks!

in my experience with fatties, the eggs are a bit more delicate. they dont handle temp fluxuation well and humidity or lack of can ruin an egg.

The only problem i had with fat tail eggs is i dont also find them in time and they dry up a bit. Also when i first was getting eggs i was trying to incubate them like leos, lower temps for the first few weeks then make it 88-89F after the 3rd-4th week when i did this most of the eggs wouldnt make it. Now i just keep the temp steady at 83-84F and everything has been going fine with some hatch lings.
