Female Leopard Gecko Too Old to Breed?

What is the general consensus for when a female leopard gecko is considered too old to breed? I've seen some say 6-7 years and others say they are breeding 15+ year old female geckos. I have a 10 year old female who has never been bred before and I certainly would not want to subject her to harm by attempting to do so if it's not safe. She eats well and has a healthy weight with a plump tail otherwise.

It's certainly worth a try. She may get skinnier as the season progresses, and may also be of an age where she doesn't produce anything fertile. If you find that she gets really skinny and doesn't bounce back within a few months of the end of the breeding season, it's a sign that she shouldn't be bred again.
