First Strophurus hatchling with the S.I.M.

Hello.

A few Days ago i hatched out my first Strophurus taenicauda in the S.I.M.
It is a nice little "white eyed" and hatched out after 66 days of incubation.

That is awesome and its a first time on the SIM... Great photos!!! That is a tiny little gecko... Those squares are only 5mm... You must have a really nice camera... LOL

If you do not mind me asking, what is the normal hatch time on this species???

Yes, those guys are very small, when they hatch compared to other species.

The normal hatch time is something about 65 to 72 days by incubating them around 28 degrees.
i used 26 degrees, so the incubation time was earlier then expectet.
something about 1 week i guess.

the clutchmate of this gecko came out 2 days later.

Also i hatched out my first strophurus williamsi lately in the S.I.M., but i didn´t make any picture of that. but this one also came out a little earlier than expectet.
