I talked with a person at a pet store and he said he had flea and mite powder for hamsters. I am probably going to have to get some if the olive oil does not work because my hamsters are missing fur, which means mites. I also read cedar base bedding is bad, yet I was sold some at the pet store. The best bedding to use is at walmart and it is carefresh bedding. I am only going to use that bedding because it does not make me sneeze, or eyes water, or itch. And the care fresh bedding really hides orders well, unlike cedar based bedding. If I was a hamster I would hate cedar bedding also, it stinks and it makes me cry and burn.
