As it turns out, beneath my tough, abrasive, and utterly straight forward exterior, there is an actual BEATING heart. I know, i know, big shock to me as well. It would seem that I, and my veterinary class mates have discovered what may be considered a weakness in my armor.
Chinese food.
No seriously, it seems i cannot function around kittens. Like at all. Unless of course, its to feed, hold or calm them down.
The run down: Momma cat was hit by a car, baby cats(2/male) were brought to the vet office(2weeks old) and then we, as a class, adopted them. They are currently too young to be sheltered and no fosters were available. Which is how we come to take turns taking them home to care for their 24/7 needs. I just so happened to land on the 3 day weekend.
I dont mind though, because of course, im a slave to the savage little demons. And loving every minute of it.
way home
feed us
very good, now clean our faces and let us sleep.
We shall call you in 4 hours.
My bed. Their bed...not much of a difference.
Oh, and feeding after math
There will be night mares and milk induced panic attacks for years.
