Gecko excessively licking his foot?

I noticed my gecko licking his back left foot alot lately. It looks a little red maybe because he licked it so much? I'm not sure as to what reason why as he's not in shedding state currently

Not a clue. Keep an eye on it for little sores and consider a vet visit if it continues.
