Handling my Leo

I have done a lot of research on handling, when to handle, how to handle, but no matter what I do, my leo struggles. The only time he hasnt struggled was when I was cradling him without putting my fingers around him and stroking his back gently. He has also climbed me before which I was told means he wants to attack me. Is there something I can do to make it easier on both of us?

Welcome to GF. In my opinion, the best thing you can do is to handle the leo in the way that it is most comfortable. You have found one--cradling it gently. Leos may instinctively regard being held with fingers around them as being caught by a predator. Many will tolerate it but some won't.
