Handling of multiple male leopard geckos

Do I have to wash my hand after handling one male leopard gecko before proceeding to another male leopard gecko to remove the scent of the previous male gecko?

I haven't found that to be necessary. I handle male leopard geckos consecutively without even thinking about it and never had a problem.
