another egg hatched yesterday and when i picked up the baby to move in a separate container it got scared and seems that it's yolk came back out through the ombilical area, along with something pink-red that looks like guts. there was nothing hanging before i took it out. please give me some advice :(

IMO, there is not much that you can do except set it up in a hatchling environment by itself. I use a 6QT tub with moist paper towels, and a hide. Temps at 92. Hopefully, everything will mend, and be ok. Do keep us posted.

It sounds as if the baby has an unbilical hernia,which is where the abdomen where the umbilical cord is doesn't close completely. SOme people have had success (believe it or not) stuffing everything back inside and sealing it with super glue. I have had no success with this. Unfortunately the prognosis is not good.

yeah i've managed to stuff the organs back, put some antibiotics lotion and a small bandage around the gecko, but it died eventually
