I went to check last night to see if she laid her eggs yet and found her dead. She stopped eating about 5 days ago, so I knew she was ready to lay. It almost looks like her eggs busted inside her, but I'm not positive. She was one of my favorites. This is my first time losing one of my adult breeders.

Oh god, I am so sorry. I hear about the risks involved with breeding, but it's never really dawned on me before. How old was Hecate?
