Hornworm feeding to future breed

Yo what up, just wondering if anyone knows how to make hornworm food. I'd just feed them tomatoes but I tried that some time ago, they all died. I guess that's not the type of hornworms they were.

Also if anyone knows a good place to buy them and they're type. Thanks

In the wild, hornworms don't eat tomatoes, they eat the tomato plant.
