How big are normal AFT eggs?

My female normal Aft, that I rescued with a male has started laying eggs. So far she only lays one at a time. But to me they seem huge. They are an inch long at least, longer than her head. She has a great appetite and is active so she's not egg bound. I was thinking that maybe she's just going to give me one extra large egg at a time.

I estimate mine are about 3/4" when they're laid.
