Humid hide not warming up on hot side

Hey everyone, I have humid hides on the warm side where the ground temps reach 90-92f. However when I mist the paper towel with water it drops down to room temp and I find that it won't reach the desired temp until the towel is dried out. I'm using open faced rock caves as the hide? Maybe that's the problem? Or should I mist with warmer water? Or should I swap them out for Tupperware containers? 20200927_180154.jpg

I don't think the humid hide has to be as warm as the hot side dry hide. Evaporation is a cooling process so as the moisture evaporates, it cools things down until there's nothing more to evaporate and then it warms up again. Just mist the towel when it gets dry and don't worry about it.
