Humidity bounce

I have my leo in a 30 gal vivarium with cacti and succulents, very dry plants thatt get spot wattered every couple weeks. At first the humidity was between 30 -40, but in the past week its been 35'ish during daylight hours and spiking to 70 at night. I calibrated my mygometer and its dead on. I will be doing a tank swap to a 55 to house more that one leo but this humidity bounce has me concerned.

I never worry about humidity in my leopard gecko enclosures. I live in NE with no air conditioning and in the summer the humidity can get quite high. I have no idea how much time leopard geckos spend in the wild in more humid micro climates. I think as long as someone isn't misting their geckos all the time the humidity shouldn't be much of an issue, though others may differ.
