Driving home, listening to the radio and on comes this announcement. . .

"Coming up, some classic rock from AC/DC"

When did AC/DC become "classic rock"?!?! Classic rock is the boring stuff parents listened to! AC/DC was what I listened to to drive my parents nuts! When on Earth did it become "classic rock"?

It was bad enough when I had to explain to my boyfriend's neice what a LP is and who The Ramones are. . now AC/DC is "classic rock". . .

I feel old. . .

Anything 80's or prior is now considered classic rock.
at least they aren't calling it oldies yet! hehe!

Nothing wrong with them at all! (except for Jethro winning the Grammy for hard rock. . .but that's a rant for another time.) My parent's didn't listen to that classic rock. . .my mom had the radio on the AM classic rock stations.
