I wanna get a gecko but I need help

Can someone help me..I wanna get a pet gecko but Im not sure what type of home it needs..or heating or if it likes there food being alive or not..I'm so clueless..I wanna make it feel likes it's safe at home

Whenever you plan to get a new pet that you've never had before, the first thing to do is to use Google to look at care sheets and read about what it needs. It's a lot of information and it's more than one person can post on a forum. Google "leopard gecko care", read a few care sheets, take notes and then bring the questions you still have to the forum and we'll be glad to try to answer them.
