So I was recently giving two leopard geckos. One very large healthy looking maybe over healthy female. And one very skinny odd looking male. I have never owned geckos before but I do have tree frogs salamanders and two turtles. My questions now are what kind of Leo's do I have ? I am a little worried on the male due to his wonky walk and how skinny he is, however fully of energy and loves attention. They both eat a mixed diet of meal worms wax worms every now and then and crickets every other day dusted. Right now I am keeping them separated but plan to have a large bio active tank like my tree frog/salamander tank. Any opinions thoughts are welcome I have a feeling the home they came from was not very good.

Hi, as I can’t say the morphs, your male’s “wonky walk” could be MBD and he is quite skinny. A trip to the vets might not be a bad idea. (if you haven’t gone already) Wax worms are generally considered a treat and your gecko can get addicted to them if fed too often. I don’t know if you meant they’ll be in the same tank so I’m sorry if I’m wrong, but a female and male will breed if put into the same enclosure, other than that the bio active tank sounds great! I wish I had one for mine. Thank you for taking them in and I’m sure they are in a better place now.
Best of luck,
Abby

I assume the male is the second one in the pictures. In that case it's an albino which is why it looks so different than the other one. I am not finding him horribly skinny. It would be a good idea to take a video of his walk so we can see what it looks like. If he is having trouble being up on his feet and tends to walk with belly to the ground it's most likely MBD. Be sure they are both getting calcium, vitamin D3 and other vitamins and minerals.

Thank you both for the fast replies, He does walk with his belly down his back feet position under him kinda. it's just very different compared to the others walk but he is very hyper moves fast to my hand like running to me every time I go to interact with him where the female just chills. His toes are very long and bent in different ways I'll try and upload a video later today.
