In need of advice!

Hi! I'm brand new to the world of geckos! A co-worker is giving me an entire set up and a Fat Tail gecko. I need as much info about them as possible!!! I know more about Leopards...are they at all similar? One of my biggest questions...can the two species live together? Thank you in advance!!

Welcome to GF. To answer your question, if you have information about leopard geckos, fat tail care is similar except:
--they seldom eat worms, and usually prefer crickets
--many of them are more retiring than leopard geckos and don't roam as much
--they like it a little warmer
--most important, they need more humidity (I mist every morning).

Especially because of the last item above, but also because they come from a different part of the world than leos, they should not be housed together.
