Incubating for Specific Sex

I wanted my first AFT hatchling to be a male, so I set the incubator to 89degrees or so. I have other eggs that I'd prefer a mix of sexes for, but figured id turn down the temp after my first egg hatches, when the other eggs will be about 3-4 weeks old.

Does anyone have any clue as to when sex is approximately determined? if I incubate the eggs for the rest of their time at a lower temp should I expect females? just curious, thanks for any info!

Fat Tail eggs are a lot more delicate. They don't do well with temperature and/or humidity fluctuations. I would recommend you just leave one steady temperature or buy a separate incubator.

Remember you still have a good chance to hatch a male from your first clutch if you incubate your eggs for mixed sexes.
