Inherited gecko! Help!

So, my boyfriend and I recently inherited a gecko from his uncle who passed away. We were told it was a leopard gecko but this gecko is super tiny and doesn’t look like a leopard gecko to me. Any help in identifying this gecko would be amazing! Thank you!!

It actually looks like a Mediterranean Gecko, or common house gecko. (I prefer medi because it's a little more specific.). It would live in a moderately humid climate with plenty of hides and things to climb on. A leopard gecko would look like this.

It looks to me like a Mediterranean House gecko
