Is something wrong with my Leopard gecko?

I have a baby leopard gecko (around 2 months old) and I was in the process of putting him back into his enclosure when he squirmed free and jumped off my hand. He landed on a book I had on the ground but he seems okay...he's energetic, moving around, and eating fine. The thing that caught my attention is that he just recently pooped near his hide (warm side hide)...he never poops there and I'm not sure if this is a sign that he's in pain and doesn't want to move around or if he's just decided to change his pooping area..

If he's moving around normally (I've had geckos do the same thing with no ill effects) he should be fine. He may be changing his poop location, or he just wanted a little variety!
