Isopods

Hi , I am in the works of building my leopard gecko a bioactive tank.We have lots of isopods in our garden and I would like to know can i take some of them to be a part of the clean up crew?

Some people take them, put them in a separate enclosure, let them breed and use the offspring. I have used them directly from the outdoors without any problems. Others may not agree.
