Kink in the tail?

So my creator is new and has been doing really well. But today I noticed at the end of his tail he has a little curve. Nothing too bad like the pics on google, but I would like to be safe. Here’s a pic. (the yellow lines kinda exaggerate it a bit)

Will the gecko let you hold it? Can you straighten the tail? I ask because the crested gecko tail is prehensile, meaning that they can curl it around things so it may be a natural thing.

I just got him. I haven’t held him, he’s 2months. I am waiting for a few months till he is bigger and it’s easier.

So meanwhile, notice if the tail is kinked all the time or just on occasion. The reason I ask is that a truly kinked tail is often bent at an angle. This tail looks as if it sometimes wants to wrap around something.

Ok, I started checking up on him at night. His tail is straightened out. Thank you so much!
