larvae in cricket cage

kind of the wrong forum but i need healthy crickets for my gecko but does anyone get these wierd worms in there cricket bins they look like little spiny caterpillars i just want to know are they harmless or do they pose a problem i usually take them out when i see them please let me know

Yeah - more than likely Dermestid beetles. They keep the smell down by eating dead crickets and poop. They also can eat very small crickets but usually the benefit of reduced smell is worth a few crickets. If you have taxidermy in your house I would be worried but if you don't have a passion for stuffed dead things, you can leave them be :)
