leo sleeps in himd box

after our first night of having the leopard gecko, i woke up this morning to see him sleeping in his humid box. is this ok? is this normal?

Yes it's normal There's a couple over here that use the humid box as their main hide.

As long as you didn't make it overly wet, its fine!

what happens if its overly wet?

It can bring up to much humidity which can result in respiratory infections that are very dangerous. My humid hide I give one spray a day.

Not only respiratory infections, but constant exposure to water and too much humidity can cause a lot of skin problems with their feet and the bottom of their tail...it can actually start sloughing off :shocked3:

Yep, just don't keep it too wet, otherwise it's perfectly fine
